Ruby Irene Poche, 83, of Ft. Smith, AR, formerly of Hugo, OK, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born April 10, 1925 to D. and Susie Robertson. Ruby was the widow of Sid Poche. Ruby had a heart for people living in nursing homes and served in that ministry for many years in the Hugo, OK area.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Sid Poche.
Ruby is survived by two sons: Barry Earl Poche and Vincent Poche; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother George Robertson of Jackson, AR; and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau, OK, with Rev. Barry Poche officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau
