Bobby Dane Renick, 59, of Poteau, OK, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009, in Poteau, OK. He was born September 16, 1949, in Big Spring, Texas to Hubert Marvin and Lillian Lucille (O’dell) Renick. Bobby married Mary Hill on October 6, 1968 in Reno, Nevada. He was a retail produce manager, retired from James Food Store and loved to fish and hunt, and also enjoyed sports very much. Bobby was a member of the Poteau Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary of the home; two sons Michael Anthony Renick of Little Rock, AR and Bradley Keith and wife Sarah Renick of Maumelle, AR; two brothers Lonnie and wife Mickey Renick of Heavener, OK and Claude Renick of Panama; a grandson Brayden Kane Renick; as well as numerous other friends, family members and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Tim Olive, Aaron Renick, Kenny Renick, Tommy Fowler, Matt Fowler, Nathan Fowler and James Womble.
Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Poteau Church of Christ on Hwy 112 with Bro. Donald Cherry officiating funeral service and Bro. Jerry Hill officiating committal service. Interment will follow service at the Highland Cemetery Cherry Hill, AR. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
