Argie Doyce Ray, 75, of Pocola, OK, formerly of Spiro, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born July 30, 1933, at Victor, OK, to John and Kathleen (Stanford) Seaborn. She was a retired C.N.A. Argie devoted her life helping the elderly. She loved to serve the Lord and attended Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Argie is survived by three daughters, Debra Sue Rohde and husband Marvin of Houston, TX, Lena Marie Couch of Wister, OK and Eulene Lindsey and husband Terry of Panama, OK; three sisters, Modean Totten of Poteau, Juanita Dodson of Pocola and Ellen Esler of Oregon, nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Ford, Danny Ford, Jason Harris, Danny Totten, Dwayne Lightford and Brandon McDaniel.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2009, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow service at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
