Teresa J. Painter, 48, of Purcell, OK, formerly of Panama, OK, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009, in Norman, OK. She was born November 17, 1960, in Poteau, OK, to Joyce and Harvey Painter. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Teresa is survived by her mother and step father Joyce and Richard Cando; a son Richie and wife Charlotte Perkins of Shady Point, OK; two daughters, Kristy and husband Stacey Wiles of Hontubby, OK, and Jennifer Perkins of Rialto, CA; three sisters, Brenda & Russell McCage of Shady Point, OK, Linda and Richard Durant of Bokoshe, OK and Saundra Painter of Fontana, CA; a brother Harvey Painter Jr., of Spiro, OK; two grandchildren Hunter Perkins and Michael Boatman; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Painter, Johnny Painter, Lee Fout, Gary Kirk, Heath Gregory, Brian Fout and Patton Cagle.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2009, at First Assembly of God Church in Shady Point, OK, with Pastor Tim Painter and Pastor Joe Owens officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Interment will follow service at Shady Point Cemetery.
