Charles V. Hill, 73, of Poteau, OK, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009, in Poteau, OK. He was born February 11, 1935, in Hodgen, OK, to Raymond and Beatrice (Dowell) Hill. Charles married Patricia Darlene Kirkley on March 10, 1962 in Heavener, OK. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Poteau Church of Christ and retired from Bremner Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pat Hill, daughter Leslie Little, and sister Mona Bowman.
He is survived by a son Eric and wife Robin Hill of Cameron, OK; a daughter Kaelin and husband Joe Blasdel of Owasso, OK; son-in-law Jeff Little of Poteau, OK; six grandchildren Treva and Shelby Hill, Kael and Chase Little and Journey and Taylor Blasdel as well as numerous other friends, family members and loved ones.
The family will hold a Memorial Services at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 30, 2009, at the Poteau Church of Christ, Hwy 112, Poteau, OK. Bro. Jeff Little will officiate the service.
