Johnda Gail (Clark) Maxwell, 32, of Poteau, OK, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009, in Poteau. She was born November 16, 1976 in Poteau, OK, to Brenda Gail (Harrison) and John Paul Clark. Johnda Gail married Donald Maxwell on December 28, 1998, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was a co-teacher at Poteau Primary Pre-K School.
Johnda is survived by her husband Donald of the home; three children, Jonathon, Donald Paul and Kristin Maxwell also of the home; her parents, John Paul Clark of Spiro and Brenda Gail Clark of Poteau; a sisters Pamela Nolen and husband Jason of Pocola, OK; a brother Michael Clark and wife April of Spiro; nieces Rylea Freeman, Madeline Clark, Tamara and Tara Legitt, Gracie and Kobee Nolen; brother in law, Jay Maxwell of Poteau, sister in law, Tammy Legitt and husband Randy of Poteau, mother in law Linda Maxwell of Poteau; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Steve Lindsey, Vern Krebs, Roy Gullick, Ronnie Buckner, Steve Maxwell, Aaron Clark, and Nate Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Nolen and Matt Callahan.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 5, 2009, at New Life Full Gospel Church, Panama, OK, with Rev. Ed Pierce officiating. Interment will follow service at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
