Velma “Pauline” Bullock, 83, of Twilight, OK, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in Twilight. She was born November 8, 1925, in Rock Island, OK, to Jay C. and Lydia Margaret (Johnston) Ellis. Pauline married Marvin Andrew Bullock on April 4, 1941 at Poteau, OK. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Dianne Bullock.
Pauline is survived by her husband of almost sixty eight years, Marvin Bullock; six children, Gene Bullock of Denver, CO, Doris Box and husband Thomas of Helendale, CA, Laverne Anderson of Poteau, OK, Jim Bullock and wife Dianne of Okemah, OK, Norma Butner and husband Steve of Alta Loma, CA, Joyce Ochs and husband Bill of Twilight, OK; sixteen grandchildren, Marvin Wayne Bullock, Donna Storz, Michael Bullock, Marvin Eugene Bullock, Forde Bullock, Becky Mattke, Lisa Fehd, Bill and John Anderson, Brian Henson, Jimmie Bullock, Tracie Nailon, Sallie Loyd, Steven Butner, Shiree Clemmons, Krystal Hopson; twenty two great grandchildren, Paige, Bekah, Drew, Luke, Nikki, Erika, Katelyn, Clinton, Tanner, Lauren, Jake, Michelle, Dominic, T.J., Shaylee, Jeanne, Chase, Kyle, David, Jeff, Kristi, Jenny; three great-great grandchildren Blake, Vanden and Peyton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and honorary pallbearers will be great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2009, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Pastor Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating. The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.
