Roberta Catherine LaGrand, 82, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in Columbus. She was born August 4, 1926, in Lyndon, KS, to Raymond Charles and Lena Maude (Provost) Redmond. She was a childcare provider and a member of South Broadway Church of Christ, Poteau, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, William J. Euwer and Ollie L. LaGrand, a step-son Robert LaGrand, two brothers Glen Redmond and Edgar Redmond, and a sister Wilma Lungstrum.
She is survived by three sons, William R. Euwer and wife Judy of Lees Summit, MO, Rick Euwer and wife Peggy of Kansas City, MO, Ollie LaGrand, Sr. and wife Vicki of Poteau, OK; five daughters Lizette Evans of Topeka, KS, Vickie Hudson and husband Bruce of Brandon, FL, Karin Hooks and husband Johnny of Columbus, OH, Denise LaGrand and Bill Schiller of Tahlequah, OK, Teri LaGrand and James Morris of Dutch Harbor, AK; a brother Merle Redmond and wife Carol of Marysville, OH; a sister Margaret Packard of Richland, WA; twenty two grandchildren, Ashli LaGrand, James Evans, Tavish Euwer, Casey Robertson, Renda Duncan, Kevin Hudson, Julie Skinner, Jerod Euwer, Catherine Euwer, MaryBeth Hooks, Michele Schmidt, Kendra Schmidt, Emilie Schiller, Mallory Cooper, Wesley LaGrand, Mary LaGrand, Ollie LaGrand, Jr., Heather Miller, Shane Morris, Jacey Morris, John Ramer, Nikki Ramer; eleven great-grandchildren, Sky Dodie-LaGrand, Harper Euwer, Will Euwer, Tailor Robertson, Keaton Robertson, Luke Robertson, Carson Duncan, Jessy Duncan, Lexy Duncan, Dyez Nissen, Dayton Nissen, and Reiya Bolen; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the South Broadway Church of Christ, Poteau, OK, with Virgil Faires officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK.
