Bonnie Shores, 65, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born July 21, 1943, in Winters, TX, to Ben and Vera (Crenshaw) Lindley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bokoshe; she loved walking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie married Bob Shores in Baird, TX on February 12, 1959 they were happily married 46 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.
Bonnie is survived by three sons Robby Shores of Bokoshe, OK, Stan Shores of Berkeley, CA, Dustin Shores of Dallas, TX; one brother Donald Lindley of Odessa, TX; one sister Nancy Hobbs of Abilene, TX; four granddaughters, one grandson, two great grandsons, one great grandchild on the way; as well as a host of other friends, family members and loved ones.
A Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 1, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, Bokoshe, OK, with Brother Jerry Turner officiating. Cremation under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma. You may leave an on-line message at www.gracemanorfh.com
