Eunice Charlene Rose-Munday, 58, of Pocola, OK, passed away July 31, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born February 9, 1951, in Salinas, CA, to James and Inez (Kimball) Minton. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ft. Smith Congregation.
Eunice is preceded in death by her husband Roger C. Rose Sr., her parents and two grandchildren Trenton Austin and Charlee Austin.
She is survived by three sons, Roger C. Rose, Jr. and wife Martha of Rogers, AR, Caleb W. Rose Sr. and wife Christina of Van Buren, AR, Joshua Lee Rose of Pocola, OK; one daughter, Lena Haynie of Heavener, OK; five brothers, Loring Minton of Oklahoma City ,OK, Philip Lairson of Longview, TX, Bob Lairson of Valiant, OK, Jerry Lairson of Valiant, OK, Leroy Lairson of Tennessee; two sisters Sharon Minton of Shawnee, OK, Melinda Whorton, of McCloud, OK, eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK. Cremation under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
