Carolyn Coffey, 57, of Howe, OK, passed away September 28, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born September 20, 1952, to Samuel Jackson and Thelma Marie (Kiefer) Truitt at Wister, OK. She was the widow of James Coffey and a member of Wister First Baptist Church. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a granddaughter Ashlee Clark. She is survived by a son Bradley Steelman and wife Becky of Heavener, OK; two daughters, Carol Clark and husband Virgil of Heavener, OK, Shannon Mathis and husband Chris of Howe, OK; two brothers Carrol (Bud) Truitt and wife Sharon of Dumas, TX, Robert (Bob) Truitt and wife Velda of Fairview, OK; two sisters, Letha Thompson and husband Fred of Howe, OK, Susan Covey and husband C.W. of Wister, OK; twelve grandchildren; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be Joshua Stone, Dillon Clark, Dalton Clark, Daniel Wheatley, Curtis Scott and Christopher Morrison. Service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 1, 2009, at Forrester Baptist Church, Heavener, OK, with Bro. Mike Steelman officiating. Interment will follow service at Mt.
