Kenneth Harrelson, 52, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away October 22, 2009 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born April 6, 1957 in Hobbs, NM, to Buck and Marion (Carter) Harrelson. He was a mechanical technician at AES for eighteen years and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his wife Leeann Harrelson of the home; two daughters Rachel and Kelly both of the home; father Buck Harrelson and wife Sue of Lorenzo, TX; three brothers, Loyd Harrelson and wife Cathy of Central City, AR, Steve Harrelson and wife Shirley of Ft. Worth, TX, and Richard Harrelson of Texas; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Jeanna, Jennessa, Chris, Joe, Erin, Teisha, Lacey, Emily and Kate; as well as many other friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Duncan, Elmer Barnes, Larry Hammons, Jim “Skippy” Borota and his brothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Pollard, Ron Holly, Ken Jackson and Donny Hemmert.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2009, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jerry Turner officiating. Interment will follow service at Center Point Cemetery, Wilburton, OK. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
