Betty M. York, 65, of Panama, OK, passed away October 23, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born May 23, 1944, to Coy and Beatrice (Niblett) Robison at Panama, OK. Betty was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert D. York.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Adams and wife Carolyn of Ft. Smith, AR and Billy Adams and wife Dee of Sallisaw, OK; a stepdaughter Elaine Karl and husband Rick of Poteau, OK; a brother Charles Robison and wife Brenda of Shady Point, OK; ten grandchildren, Justin Adams and wife Shavon of Poteau, OK, Matt Adams and wife Lindsey of Tulsa, OK, Chris Adams and wife Maygan of Tulsa, OK, Jonathan Adams of Sallisaw, OK, Brian Adams of Sallisaw, OK, Jeremy Cook and wife Tricia of Greenwood, AR, Brandon Cook of Ft. Smith, AR, Valarie Cook of Ft. Smith, AR, T.J. Richards of Panama, OK and Tiffany Jorgesen and husband Josh of Poteau, OK; ten great grandchildren; and a host of friends, other family and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Service will be at10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jackie Edwards officiating. Interment will follow service at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK. Family will greet friends Monday, October 26, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
