Irene Maye Hamilton
Irene Maye (Hale) Hamilton, 78, of Spiro, OK, passed away December 3, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born November 26, 1931, to John and Maude (Wells) Didway in Bokoshe, OK. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wayne Hale and her 2nd husband Cecil Hamilton, four brothers, Eules Didway, Frances John Didway, Leo Oscar and Howard Glenn Didway.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Wiley and husband James of Sallisaw, OK, Sharon Faye Steele and husband Larry of Fort Smith, AR. and Tonya Underwood and Butch Smith of Spiro; a twin sister Lorene Bourne of Bokoshe; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 great- great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends, other family members and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be members of her family.
Service will be at 3:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2009, at Flower Hill Pentecostal Church with Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Interment will follow service at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw OK. Family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Spiro.
