Josie “Diane” Pebworth, 63, of Poteau, OK, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, at her home. Diane was born November 16, 1946, in Paris, Texas, to James and Jo Westbrook. Josie Diane married Larry Pebworth on August 1, 1964, in Amarillo, TX. She was a homemaker.
Josie is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Caroline Walker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Pebworth, of the home; a son Stewart Pebworth of Dallas, TX; a daughter Vanessa Pebworth of Poteau, OK; a brother James D. Westbrook of Amarillo, TX and a granddaughter Ashley Pebworth of Miami, FL; as well as numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau. Dickie Pebworth will officiate the service.
