Brandon Earl Sweeten, 22, of Cameron, OK passed away February 26, 2010, in Mena, AR. He was born January 6, 1988, in Fort Smith, AR, to Randy and Bonnie May (Duncan) Sweeten. Brandon married his best friend Stephanie Micheal Scaffe in Fort Smith, AR on Nov. 17, 2006. He worked construction and was of the Baptist Faith.
Brandon was proceeded in death by three grandpas; Roy Sweeten, Walter Duncan and James Ross; and one uncle Paul James.
Brandon is survived by his wife Stephanie of the home; a son, Mason Ray Fox-Sweeten of the home and ( a baby on the way); his parents, Randy and Bonnie Sweeten of Cameron; grandmother, Billie Sweeten of Cameron; sister, Kaelee Dawn Sweeten of Cameron; father and mother in law, Stan and Patricia Horton of Howe; special nieces Shelby James, Tanner James of Cameron and Shawnna Sweeten of Pocola; special nephew, Blake Sweeten of Pocola; special cousin, Austin Miller and family; sister in laws, Shannon and Sarah Horton of Howe and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Standridge, Donald Sweeten, Bud Pierce, David Chitwood, Paul Chitwood, William Martin, Monty Watts and Chris Moody .
Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Sweeten, Kendall Hargrove, Gene James, Josh Watts, Mike Sweeten.
Funeral will be at 2PM Monday, March 1, 2010, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Bro Kevin Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola. Family will greet friends from 3-5PM Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
