Rotha Linda Glenn, 61, of Poteau, OK, passed away March 6, 2010, in Poteau, OK. She was born November 16, 1948, in Poteau, OK, to Tom B and Elizabeth June (Duncan) Chaplin. She married Leon Glenn on July 15, 1967 in Wister, OK. She loved crafting, quilting, hummingbirds, and making people feel good. She enjoyed being a pastor’s wife for forty-one years.
Rotha is survived by her husband Pastor Leon Glenn of the home; one son, Troy H. and wife Lesia Glenn of Spiro, OK; one daughter, Angela Glenn-Solylo of Poteau, OK; two brothers, James and wife Joy Chaplin of Wister, OK, Tim and wife Rene~ Chaplin of Poteau, OK; eight grandchildren Lloyd Kuecken, Alex Gilbreth, Lauren Solylo, Brandon Solylo, Thomas Glenn, William Glenn; Audra Cullefer, Andy Cullefer; one great grandchild, Monica Fisk; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be David Abbott, Carl Piondexter, Bill Lancaster, Jerry Hensley, Neal Murray, James Bray, Howard Kersh, and Elmer Tankersley.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at First Step of Faith Church, Poteau, OK, with the Reverend Bill Sanders officiating. Interment will follow service at Maxey Cemetery, Wister, OK. Family will greet friends from 6:30PM to 8:00 PM Monday evening, March 8, 2010 at Grace Manor Funeral Home.
